Spring seems to have FINALLY hit Southern New England. It's about time. That's all I'm going to say...
The bleeding hearts that came with the house made it through the winter and all the hacking I did cleaning up the flower beds. Not only that, but they have a runner that I should be able to dig-up and relocate somewhere else. I'm pretty excited about that.
Last fall, we planted a huge batch of daffodils and tulips in the beds in front of the house in hopes of giving the front yard some color. This week, the whole thing spilled-forth with color. It looks absolutely gorgeous and we're quite happy with it.
Even the brand-new orchard saplings seem to be joining in the fun. The tiny blossom above was on the peach tree.
